  • Secretary Amardeep Singh Bhatia chaired a June 24 review covering 31 issues across 19 infrastructure projects valued at over ₹75,800 crore in Jharkhand, Sikkim, Nagaland, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
  • The Patratu Thermal Power Station Expansion Project Phase-I in Jharkhand and the 2,880 MW Dibang Hydropower Project in Arunachal Pradesh were highlighted among the high-investment schemes.
  • Officials examined the Kohima Bypass Road in Nagaland, a ₹6,700 crore project in Assam, and a ₹1,000 crore GeoEnpro Petroleum Ltd energy venture in Arunachal Pradesh.
  • The Project Monitoring Group facilitated coordination between central ministries, state governments and project developers to fast-track approvals and resolve pending issues.
  • This initiative aims to boost the investment climate, de-risk private capital and drive infrastructure-led growth across the five states.
