'Doxxing Trucks' Bring Antisemitism Accusations to Columbia, UPenn and Harvard Campuses

Nonprofit news watchdog Accuracy in Media targets students from Ivy League universities with digital billboard trucks and geo-targeted ads for allegedly blaming Israel for Hamas' attacks, leading to public outrage and job revocations.

  • The nonprofit watchdog Accuracy in Media has expanded its 'doxxing truck' initiative, displaying antisemitic accusations against Ivy League students of Columbia University, University of Pennsylvania, and Harvard University who allegedly blamed Israel for Hamas's attacks.
  • The trucks, featuring video screens displaying students' names and headshots under 'leading antisemites', caused controversy on campuses, with some gathering to block the truck's display.
  • The trucks blasted University of Pennsylvania's president Elizabeth Magill in particular, accusing her of fostering an environment where hatred, racism, and antisemitism could thrive. This followed criticism from prominent donors after she did not condemn Hamas immediately.
  • The campaigns led to significant job revocations at prestigious law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell, which rescinded offers to two Columbia Law School students identified in the truck displays.
  • In addition, Accuracy in Media has parked the truck outside Ivy Leaguers' homes to raise community awareness, planning to further expand this and utilize geo-targeted ads displaying the antisemitism accusations.
