  • Curfew covers a one-square-mile section of downtown from the 5 Freeway to the 110 Freeway and from the 10 Freeway to where the 110 and 5 merge, running 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. with exemptions for residents, workers and credentialed media.
  • The Los Angeles Police Department arrested 25 people for violating the curfew on its first night.
  • Multiple performances at Disney Hall, the Mark Taper Forum and other venues have been canceled, with Center Theatre Group reporting about $35,000 in lost ticket sales per ‘Hamlet’ cancellation.
  • The Japanese American National Museum suffered extensive graffiti damage while Union Station is partially closed under curfew, offering limited Amtrak service.
  • Thousands of National Guard troops and Marines deployed under the president’s directive remain in place to support law enforcement operations.
