Overview

• Turn off beta updates by removing the developer beta profile so the Mac receives only stable releases.
• Create a complete Time Machine backup, noting that backups made after installing Tahoe will simply restore the beta.
• Method 1 uses Erase All Content and Settings, followed by restoring from a pre-beta Time Machine backup during setup or via Recovery.
• Method 2 uses macOS Recovery to erase the startup disk in Disk Utility and then reinstall macOS Sequoia over the internet.
