Doubles Team Disqualified After Player Accidentally Hits Ball Girl With Tennis Ball

Miyu Kato and Aldila Sutjiadi were playing in the third round of the French Open women's doubles tournament.
During a break in play, Kato hit a ball down the court that inadvertently struck a ball girl.
The umpire initially gave Kato a warning, but after the ball girl was left crying and bleeding, the umpire defaulted Kato and Sutjiadi.
Their opponents, Marie Bouzkova and Sara Sorribes Tormo, advanced to the quarterfinals.
The incident drew comparisons to when Tim Henman was disqualified from Wimbledon in 1995 for hitting a ball girl with a tennis ball.
