Overview

• Emergency services were called to a home on Kaye Court in Dandenong North just before 1.30 pm on Friday, where officers found a deceased woman inside and a critically injured man outside.
• Responding officers began medical treatment for the man at the scene but he later died in the driveway.
• Police believe the two victims were known to each other as investigations continue into how they died.
• Victoria Police have launched a homicide investigation and are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
• Authorities say no other suspects are being sought at this stage and the female victim has yet to be formally identified.
