Dorival Junior, former coach of Sao Paulo, is set to take charge of Brazil's national football team.
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has yet to confirm the appointment, but both Sao Paulo and Dorival have announced the move.
Dorival's appointment comes after Brazil parted ways with interim coach Fernando Diniz, following a series of disappointing results in the World Cup qualifiers.
Dorival's first matches in charge of Brazil will be friendlies against England and Spain in March.
Dorival led Flamengo to the Copa Libertadores title and the Brazilian Cup in 2022 before joining Sao Paulo, whom he guided to their first Brazilian Cup last year.
