- The international documentary festival runs August 6–10 across 11 venues in Querétaro with a free inaugural screening at Plaza de Armas.

- The CHIMAL competition will award the best national, university and regional documentaries judged by María Novaro, Ángeles Cruz and Ximena Beltrán.
