• Dongfeng chairman Yang Qing met Ren Zhengfei and Xu Zhijun in Shenzhen on Sept. 22 to deepen cooperation across new energy, intelligent technologies and marketing.
• Ren stressed building safe cars as the top priority, while Xu said Huawei will fully support Dongfeng’s transformation.
• A Dongfeng–Huawei joint innovation lab was unveiled on Sept. 19 at HUAWEI CONNECT 2025 to focus on vehicle software platforms, advanced driver assistance, AI multi‑scenario applications and embodied intelligence.
• Lantu CEO Lu Fang said five co‑developed models will be presented on Sept. 26, including a flagship SUV codenamed Taishan using Huawei’s ADS Ultra with four lidars, 34 sensors and a highway L3 package.
