Don Cheadle Cast in Peacock's 'Fight Night' Series

The series, based on a true crime podcast, explores an armed robbery during Muhammad Ali's 1970 comeback fight.

Don Cheadle has joined the cast of Peacock's limited series 'Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist,' portraying J.D. Hudson, one of Atlanta's first Black detectives.
The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of an armed robbery during Muhammad Ali’s 1970 comeback fight, introducing the world to 'the Black Mecca.'
'Fight Night' is based on the acclaimed true crime podcast by Doghouse Pictures, LLC and iHeartPodcasts.
The cast also includes Kevin Hart, Samuel L. Jackson, Taraji P. Henson, and Terrence Howard, with Hart also serving as an executive producer.
Craig Brewer will direct several episodes of the series, which is produced by Universal Television and comes from creators Shaye Ogbonna and Jason Horwitch.
