- Officers responded around 10:12 p.m. Wednesday to reports of an armed domestic violence suspect barricaded on Keegan Drive near his ex-partner’s home.
- The man refused to surrender during a six-hour standoff despite efforts by Santa Rosa PD SWAT and hostage negotiation teams.
- At about 4:55 a.m. Thursday he emerged running toward officers with a gun and was struck by at least one round fired by an SRPD SWAT officer.
- No officers were injured and the shelter-in-place order was lifted before 7 a.m., with nearby schools and traffic remaining unaffected.
