Dolphins Rule Jaylen Wright Inactive as Lions Expect Amon‑Ra St. Brown to Play

Overview

• The Dolphins officially listed Jaylen Wright inactive for Sunday’s game after he was ruled out with a quadriceps issue.
• Wright had been Miami’s primary kickoff returner this season, averaging 27.6 yards on 22 returns, so his absence changes the team’s special-teams plans.
• Miami elevated Carlos Washington Jr. from the practice squad and listed Kaytron Allen questionable to provide depth behind RB1 Ollie Gordon II.
• The Lions expect Amon‑Ra St. Brown to be available despite a rib concern while Detroit already ruled out DJ Wonnum, Cade Mays and DJ Reed and placed Jack Campbell on injured reserve.
• Final inactive lists are announced 90 minutes before kickoff so last-minute changes are possible and Miami’s return-game choices and Gordon’s workload are the key items to watch.
