Dolphins Debut 'Dark Water' Rivalries Uniform on Monday Night vs. Jets

The NFLNike Rivalries program adds a South Florida–inspired design to Miami’s three-season alternate rotation.

Overview

  • Miami took the field in a nearly black 'pitch blue' monochrome set with aqua numbers and orange wordmarks, debuting the look against the Jets at Hard Rock Stadium.
  • Hard Rock Stadium featured coordinated visuals with pitch-blue end zones, aqua lettering with orange accents, and an updated midfield logo to match the uniforms.
  • Players endorsed the design, with Tua Tagovailoa calling it "sick," linebacker Jordyn Brooks saying he would wear it every game, and safety Ashtyn Davis describing excitement after practicing in the dark helmets.
  • The Dolphins are the second of eight teams to wear a Rivalries uniform this season after the Cardinals, with the AFC East and NFC West participating in 2025.
  • Each Rivalries set will be worn once this season but remains in teams’ alternate rotations for three years, as a recent NFL rule also raised the cap on alternate-uniform games to four.
