Country music icon Dolly Parton has revealed she prefers to communicate via fax and phone calls, rather than text messages.
Parton, 77, explained her preference during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, stating she's a 'low-tech girl in a high-tech world'.
She stated that she doesn't text because she doesn't want to have to answer everyone that wants to talk to her.
Parton's preference for faxing has been corroborated by other artists, including her goddaughter Miley Cyrus and friend Reba McEntire.
Despite her low-tech communication preferences, Parton's latest album, 'Rockstar', debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, and at No. 1 on multiple Billboard albums.
