Overview

  • The voluntary recall covers three lots of eight-ounce Clover Valley Instant Coffee (UPC 876941004069; lot numbers L-5163, L-5164, L-5165) sold exclusively at Dollar General stores from July 9 through July 21, 2025, across 48 states.
  • The action follows a customer report of potential glass fragments in a jar; the FDA has noted no related injuries or illnesses to date.
  • Dollar General has launched an internal probe to determine how glass entered the coffee containers.
  • Customers who purchased the affected products can request full refunds by contacting Dollar General via email at [email protected] or by calling 1-888-309-9030.
  • The FDA has published the recall notice and is preparing a hazard assessment to formally classify the public-health risk.
