Dog Survives 10 Weeks in Colorado Mountains After Owner's Death

Moore's body was found on October 30, 10 weeks later, with Finney still alive but weighing about half her original body weight.
Finney survived by hunting small animals and avoiding predators, according to rescuers.
Moore's wife, Dana Holby, reports that Finney has regained most of her lost weight and strength, and is back on the hiking trails.
