Dog Rescued After Losing Entire Family in South Korea Plane Crash

Pudding, a pet dog left orphaned by the Jeju Air crash, is now under the care of an animal rights group seeking a new home for him.

Pudding, a dog from Yeonggwang village, lost all nine members of his family in the Jeju Air flight 2216 crash on December 29, 2024.
The victims included three generations of the Bae family, who were traveling to Thailand to celebrate the patriarch's 80th birthday.
After the crash, Pudding was seen wandering between his family home and the village center, waiting by passing cars in search of his owners.
Animal rights group Care rescued Pudding on December 31 after reports from locals and is now providing medical care, as the dog had consumed harmful foods while roaming.
Care is working to find a suitable adoptive family for Pudding, with many expressing interest in giving him a loving home.
