Dog Rescued After Falling 4 Meters Into Well Pipe in Germany

A 13-year-old dog was saved after an eight-hour operation involving over two dozen rescue workers in Stutensee, near Karlsruhe.

A 13-year-old dog fell into a four-meter-deep well pipe in the backyard of a Waschküche (laundry room) in Stutensee, Baden-Württemberg.
The incident triggered a complex rescue operation lasting over eight hours, starting early Saturday afternoon and ending late in the evening.
More than two dozen personnel from the local fire department and the Technisches Hilfswerk (THW) used heavy equipment, including a suction excavator, to access the animal.
Rescue workers carefully attached ropes to the dog to lift it out of the narrow pipe, ensuring no harm came to the animal during the process.
The dog was reported to be in good health and vitality after the rescue and was promptly returned to its dog basket.
