Dog Rescued After 30-Meter Fall at Scottish Landmark

Margot, a dog who fell into Finnich Glen's Devil's Pulpit, was safely recovered by Lomond Mountain Rescue Team and reunited with her owner.

The Lomond Mountain Rescue Team coordinated with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to execute a rescue involving rigging and safety equipment.
Margot was safely hoisted out of the gorge after being cooperative during the rescue and sustained only minor bumps and scrapes.
Stirling Council has previously issued warnings about the dangers of visiting the gorge, including unsafe parking and unclear edges of the overgrown area.
Finnich Glen, known for its striking sandstone formations, has been proposed as a future tourist attraction after receiving planning permission earlier this year.
