Dodgers Reunite With RHP Nick Robertson on Minor-League Deal
Los Angeles adds non-roster bullpen depth by bringing back a 2019 draftee with swing-and-miss potential.
Overview
- The agreement was reported Jan. 16–17 by Ari Alexander of 7News, and the minor-league pact does not place Robertson on the 40-man roster.
- Robertson has logged 35 2/3 MLB innings with a 5.30 ERA, appearing for the Dodgers, Red Sox, Cardinals and Blue Jays.
- In 2025 Triple-A action across the Astros and Royals systems, he posted a 4.30 ERA with 52 strikeouts and 30 walks over 52 1/3 innings.
- Across parts of four Triple-A seasons, he owns a 4.46 ERA with a 26.2% strikeout rate and 11.3% walk rate, working with a four-seam fastball, slider and changeup; his Triple-A fastball averaged 93.4 mph last year.
- Originally traded by Los Angeles in the Kiké Hernández deal and later included in the Tyler O’Neill trade, he subsequently moved via waivers through the Angels, Blue Jays and Astros, was released by Houston in August 2025 and finished the year in the Royals’ system.
