Dodgers Parade Closes Downtown LA Courthouses Monday, Operations Resume Tuesday

Officials ordered a one‑day pause at selected Civic Center facilities to manage parade‑related street closures and crowds.

Overview

  • The Superior Court will pause jury duty and all proceedings Monday at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center, Superior Court departments at the Spring Street Courthouse, and the Archives and Records Center.
  • Most other Los Angeles County courthouses will operate normally Monday, and regular operations at the affected Civic Center locations will restart Tuesday.
  • Jurors assigned to Monday do not need to call Sunday but must resume calling Monday for Tuesday instructions, jurors already serving on trials at the affected courthouses need not report Monday, and criminal grand jurors slated for the Foltz center are directed to appear Nov. 10.
  • Restraining order matters set for Monday at Stanley Mosk are transferred to Departments 68 and 69 at the Metropolitan Courthouse at 1945 S. Hill St., and all other Monday cases at the closed sites will be continued or rescheduled with notices to follow.
  • County offices downtown will also scale back, with the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration and the county Hall of Records closed Monday, and alternative in‑person and online services available through district and regional locations.
