Documents Show Vox Balearic Transfers to National Account as Party Defends Financing

The party insists the payments reflect billed services overseen by the Tribunal de Cuentas.

Overview

  • The Balearic parliamentary group's 2024 annual report lists €89,667.50 sent to Vox’s national account via three transfers dated April 30, May 30 and December 3.
  • Former Balearic spokesperson Idoia Ribas says national leaders pressured her to move public group funds that were then routed to Fundación Disenso, a claim Vox rejects.
  • Vox’s 2024 accounts report €1.59 million from regional groups and €1.2 million from municipal groups as compensation for services provided by the national headquarters.
  • Party records also show donations to Fundación Disenso of €2.5 million in 2023, €2 million in 2024 and about €1 million so far in 2025.
  • The Tribunal de Cuentas fined Vox €50,000 in July for 2020 donations, while audits of 2021–2022 continue and court files include a 2022 €850 transfer labeled “Abono Fra Vox”.
