- He was first treated at a local hospital before being transferred to King George’s Medical University in Lucknow for advanced trauma care
- Surgeons conducted a 10-hour procedure on May 16, using neuro-navigation and microsurgery to extract the nail without damaging critical blood vessels
- Following surgery the boy was placed in intensive care and has since made a full recovery under ongoing medical observation
