Doctor Who Season 15 Trailer Features Classic Companion Leela in New Time War Scene

The scene, part of the announcement for Doctor Who: The Collection – Season 15, does not appear to tie into the upcoming season airing in May.

The announcement trailer for Doctor Who: The Collection – Season 15 features a new scene starring former companion Leela, played by Louise Jameson, witnessing the final moments of the Great Time War on Gallifrey.
Leela, who hasn't been seen in the Doctor Who television series since her cameo in the 1993 30th anniversary special, is forced to make a decision when a soldier arrives with a gift from the Doctor.
The new boxset will feature newly remastered Doctor Who episodes, episodes of Behind The Sofa with the likes of Jameson, Colin Baker, Katy Manning and Janet Fielding, and audio commentary from Baker.
The scene does not seem to set up anything for the upcoming Doctor Who season, starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson as his companion Ruby Sunday.
A new season of Doctor Who is set to air on the BBC and Disney+ in May.
