- Eyewitnesses reported that the couple was dragged approximately 10 to 15 feet by the vehicle before being rescued.
- The husband, Vishwanath Arekar, sustained severe injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.
- Boisar police have detained Dr. Das and registered a case against him as investigations continue into the incident.
