Doc Rivers Reflects on Challenges Coaching 76ers at Home

Former Philadelphia 76ers coach Doc Rivers discusses how the home crowd's intensity affected his team's performance.

Overview

Rivers noted that playing at home in Philadelphia was uniquely challenging due to the crowd's impact on players.
The 76ers had a strong home record during the COVID-19 season with no fans but struggled more with fans present.
Rivers' tenure with the 76ers saw them never advancing past the second round of the playoffs.
He has since taken over as head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, aiming for better results.
Rivers' comments were made during an episode of 'The Bill Simmons Podcast.'
