Do Kwon Appeals Montenegro High Court's Extradition Decision

Kwon's lawyer alleges political pressure on court, while U.S. counsel seeks delay in securities fraud trial.

Do Kwon, co-founder of Terraform Labs, has appealed the Montenegro High Court's decision to uphold extradition requests from the U.S. and South Korea.
The appeal was filed on the grounds that the High Court's decision 'drastically violates the provisions of the law, the European Convention on Extradition and the bilateral treaty with America on extradition.'
Kwon's lawyer claims that there is political pressure on the court, to the detriment of Do Kwon.
Kwon is currently serving a four-month prison sentence in Montenegro for possession of falsified official documents.
Kwon's U.S. counsel has requested courts to delay a securities fraud trial against him so that he may attend in person.
