- On October 20, branches are closed in major cities including New Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata, while services run as usual in Mumbai, Patna, Jammu, Belapur, Imphal, Nagpur and Srinagar.
- On October 21, banks shut in Mumbai, Bhopal, Belapur, Gangtok, Guwahati, Imphal, Jammu, Nagpur, Raipur and Srinagar for Laxmi Pujan, Deepawali and Govardhan Puja, with Delhi and most other metros open.
- On October 22, holidays apply in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh for Bali Pratipada, Vikram Samvat New Year, Govardhan Puja and related observances.
- On October 23, closures continue in Gujarat, Sikkim, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Himachal Pradesh for Bhai Dooj, Chitragupt Jayanti, Laxmi Puja Bhratridwitiya and Ningol Chakkouba.
