Disney’s Pop Century Lobby Debuts Decade-Themed Check-In Stations in Ongoing Makeover

The phased redesign reorients the lobby into a flexible gathering space driven by the rise of mobile check-in.

Overview

  • The single long counter has been replaced by three stations themed to the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s/1990s, labeled “Neato,” “Groovy,” and “Cool.”
  • A refreshed kids’ area now features blue geometric carpeting, colorful seating poufs, and a TV with wall art styled like classic Disney films on vintage screens.
  • A long communal table with chairs has been added near Bell Services, set against lime-green paint and orange patterned carpet to expand seating.
  • A large retro mural of Minnie and Daisy anchors one wall, while other sections remain behind scrim and curtains as work continues.
  • Earlier 2025 updates at the resort included a refreshed Everything POP food court with a new coffee shop and modernized guest rooms.
