The expansion follows widespread guest use of the fleet for quick door-to-door trips around Walt Disney World that many compare to a transportation Lightning Lane.

Overview

  • The $199 one-way airport transfer option, launched August 13, is exclusive to Deluxe resort guests and must be booked through the Lyft app.
  • On-property fares generally range from $30 to $70 per trip, making these rides often cheaper than a four-person Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
  • Operated in partnership with Lyft and driven by Disney Cast Members, Minnie Vans seat up to six passengers and include two integrated car seats.
  • The service offers door-to-door pickups and can drop guests directly at Magic Kingdom gates, bypassing the Transportation and Ticket Center’s monorail and ferry transfers.
  • Guests increasingly use Minnie Vans during peak periods—such as after fireworks or in bad weather—to cut resort-to-resort transfer times from over an hour to about 15 minutes.
