  • Aladdin marked its 4,092nd performance on August 6 at the New Amsterdam Theatre, surpassing Miss Saigon’s run to claim the 14th-longest spot in Broadway history.
  • Since its March 20, 2014 opening, the show has welcomed over 6.5 million guests in New York and appeared on the weekly top-10 list of highest-grossing Broadway productions for nearly its entire run.
  • Disney Theatrical Group’s Broadway staging has set 17 house records and features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, a book and additional lyrics by Chad Beguelin, and direction and choreography by Casey Nicholaw.
