Disneyland to Transform Paradise Pier Hotel into First Fully Pixar-Themed Hotel in January 2024

  • Disneyland plans to transform Paradise Pier Hotel into the first fully Pixar-themed hotel in the United States, set to open in January 2024.
  • The transformation is part of Disney's 30-year plan, DisneylandForward, aiming to double the investment in its theme parks by $60 billion over the next 10 years.
  • The hotel will feature various Pixar-themed elements, including an iconic Pixar lamp and character mobile in the lobby, outdoor fire pits modeled after Pixar characters, and guest rooms decorated with concept art from beloved Pixar films like The Incredibles and Toy Story 3.
  • The rooftop of the hotel will host a Finding Nemo-themed splash pad and pool area, known as Pixel Pool, coupled with Nemo's Cove splash pad and Crush's Surfin' Slide, a 186-foot-long water slide.
  • Dining options at Pixar Place Hotel will include the Great Maple restaurant,Sketch Pad Café coffee shop, and the Small Bytes rooftop pool bar, all set to open later this year.
