Disneyland to Replace Hotel Early Entry With One-Time Lightning Lane in 2026

Disney says few hotel guests used the dawn entry, prompting a shift to a scheduled skip-the-line option.

Overview

  • Early access continues through January 4, 2026, and the new policy begins January 5, 2026.
  • Each hotel guest will receive one complimentary redemption for a Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction per stay, subject to availability.
  • Use of the benefit requires valid park admission and a same-day park reservation; Disney Vacation Club stays qualify and Good Neighbor Hotels do not.
  • The complimentary entry cannot be used on Lightning Lane Single Pass attractions such as Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Radiator Springs Racers.
  • On January 5, 2026, Pixar Place Hotel’s dedicated sney CaCalifornia Adventure entrance will close, with guests directed to use the Grand Californian gate instead.
