Disneyland Sets 2026 Schedule for Hand-Pulled 18‑Inch Candy Canes

The resort is concentrating limited in-person wristband sales to 18 November–December dates to manage high demand.

Overview

  • Disneyland posted the 2026 release schedule in mid-October, listing 18 specific dates across Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure when cast members will hand-pull the 18-inch peppermint canes.
  • Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen in Disneyland Park will produce canes on nine dates including November 27 and December 24–25, while Trolley Treats at Disney California Adventure will make canes on ten dates including November 28–29 and December 24.
  • Both parks will produce canes on December 22 and December 24, giving guests two overlap days with separate opportunities at each park.
  • Distribution will use first-come, first-served in-person wristbands only, with a strict limit of one cane per guest, no mobile orders or mobile waitlists, no discounts, and sales final.
  • The 2026 plan narrows availability from pre-pandemic levels—about 28 days previously to 18 days now—so guests should plan arrival times and park strategy carefully to have a chance at the limited supply.
