Overview
- Beginning April 29, 2026, Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland will span multiple Star Wars eras, including the Galactic Civil War, New Republic, Age of the Resistance and First Order.
- Character placements are defined: Darth Vader with Imperial stormtroopers hunts for Luke, Luke–Leia–Han–Chewbacca appear near the Millennium Falcon and marketplace, Rey remains by the Resistance camp, and Ahsoka, the Mandalorian and Grogu greet near the marketplace as R2-D2 continues roaming.
- John Williams’ film scores will play throughout the land, featuring themes such as the Main Title, the Force Theme and Cantina Band inside Oga’s Cantina.
- Retail and story updates include First Order Cargo becoming Black Spire Surplus, refreshed artifacts in Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, an earlier Mubo generation at Droid Depot and continued lightsaber builds at Savi’s Workshop.
- Disney says the changes apply only to Disneyland for now, with core attractions operating as usual; a Mandalorian and Grogu overlay for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is reported to start May 22, and some enhancements may appear before the official launch.
