- On January 25 at Magic Kingdom, Maneloveg was selected as the U.S. Armed Forces Representative of the Day and took part in the sunset Flag Retreat in Town Square.
- The 101-year-old served in the U.S. Army’s 106th Infantry Division, was wounded in the Battle of the Bulge, and later received a Purple Heart.
