Overview
- On Sunday, Oct. 18, Walt Disney World updated its calendar to lengthen operating hours at Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the week of November 1–7.
- Magic Kingdom adds an extra hour on Saturday, Nov. 7, now listed 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., while Early Theme Park Entry of 30 minutes remains available to resort hotel guests each day.
- Animal Kingdom has longer daily hours on multiple dates that week, with Nov. 1 and Nov. 7 posted as 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and several other days extended to 7:00 p.m.
- Hollywood Studios opens 30 minutes earlier on Nov. 7 at 8:30 a.m. and EPCOT remains 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with resort-guest Extended Evening Hours on Nov. 2.
- Disney and reporting outlets say the revisions respond to higher regional school travel, Magic Kingdom’s overnight holiday retheme and ride refurbishments, so visitors should check the official calendar and adjust plans for party nights and attraction closures.
