Disney World Extends Holiday Week Park Hours With Earlier Entry and Later New Year’s Nights
The update concentrates extra access for eligible resort guests during the peak holiday rush.
Overview
- Magic Kingdom moves Early Entry to 7:30 a.m. and opens at 8 a.m. from December 28 to January 3, closing at 11 p.m. most nights, midnight on December 30, and 1 a.m. on New Year’s Eve.
- Magic Kingdom will present Fantasy in the Sky fireworks on December 30 and 31 as part of its New Year’s lineup.
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom shifts to 8 a.m. openings December 28 through January 3, with closes at 8 p.m. on December 28–29, 7 p.m. on December 30–31, and 8 p.m. on January 1–3, plus Extended Evening Hours on January 1 from 8–10 p.m.
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios starts Early Entry at 8 a.m. and opens at 8:30 a.m. on December 28–30 and January 1–3, keeps 9 p.m. closes most nights, and stays open until midnight on December 31; New Year’s Eve fireworks are scheduled.
- EPCOT’s posted hours remain unchanged, with 9 a.m. openings, 9:30 p.m. closes on December 28–30, a 1 a.m. close on December 31, and the Cheers to the New Year fireworks on New Year’s Eve.
