Disney World Ends Virtual Queues for Two Popular Attractions

Starting February 25, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will transition to traditional standby lines.

Disney World will eliminate virtual queues for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT beginning February 25, 2025.
Guests will no longer need to use the My Disney Experience app to secure boarding groups at 7:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m., allowing for more spontaneous ride planning.
Both attractions will now operate with traditional standby lines, but Lightning Lane access will remain available for those willing to pay for expedited entry.
Disney’s decision reflects confidence in the rides’ ability to manage high demand without virtual queues, a system initially introduced to control crowds at popular attractions.
This change marks the removal of virtual queues across all Disney World attractions, signaling a shift in the park's crowd management strategy.
