Overview
- Disney’s DAS webpage now outlines step-by-step live video registration with set hours of 7:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. ET, a ban on recording, an 18+ requester requirement, and mandatory presence of the guest seeking DAS.
- Mobile users must use Zoom, guests must be logged into a Disney account with linked park admission, and the chat supports screen readers and text chat but is currently offered only in English.
- Pre-registration opens 60 days before a visit, there is no in-person registration, and guests who arrive unregistered can complete the same-day video chat from inside the parks.
- Operational rules are unchanged: a photo is taken on approval, the service covers the registered guest plus up to three companions, only one DAS return time can be held at once, and a new one may be requested 10 minutes after redemption.
- Approved DAS registrations are now valid for up to one calendar year, and the program continues to focus on developmental disabilities, with public scrutiny and a Disneyland class-action lawsuit ongoing.
