• Rivers of America, DinoLand U.S.A., and the former Muppet Courtyard are being reimagined into franchise-driven areas tied to Monsters, Inc., Encanto and Indiana Jones, and new Villains and Cars concepts.
• Vahle says the plan focuses on refreshing underutilized spaces and emphasizes sensitivity to longtime guests’ attachments.
• Near-term updates include Zootopia: Better Zoogether opening at Animal Kingdom’s Tree of Life Theater and the return of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Big Thunder Mountain with new show scenes after refurbishment.
• Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster will be transformed into a new Muppet-based experience, and Imagineering is developing a new Magic of Disney Animation attraction for Hollywood Studios.
