• Big Thunder Mountain Railroad closed in January and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin shut on August 4 for extensive refurbishments that will introduce new ride vehicles and scenes when they reopen in 2026.
• Permanent July closures of Tom Sawyer Island, Liberty Square Riverboat and the Rivers of America cleared space for the upcoming Cars-themed Piston Peak National Park.
• Muppets Courtyard in Hollywood Studios closed in June for construction of a Monsters, Inc. land while Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster is slated to close late this year or in 2026 for a Muppets retheme.
• EPCOT’s Test Track reopened on July 22 following a long reimagining and the Disney Starlight parade debuted on July 20 to offer fresh entertainment amid ongoing maintenance.
• Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are following their annual refurbishment schedules and multiple on-site hotels are set for phased upgrades through early 2027.
