Overview

  • Walt Disney World announced that Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will both operate simultaneously starting May 21, 2025, through September 7, marking a return to pre-pandemic operations.
  • Blizzard Beach will temporarily close from May 1 to May 20 for refurbishment, while Typhoon Lagoon will open on May 1 and remain operational during this period.
  • Disney hotel guests now receive free water park admission on their check-in date, a new benefit introduced earlier this year to enhance guest experiences.
  • Tickets for the H2O Glow After Hours event at Typhoon Lagoon, starting May 23, will go on sale to the public on April 4, priced at $85 for adults and $42.50 for children.
  • This milestone reflects Disney's broader efforts to expand operations and recover from pandemic-related disruptions, with both water parks last operating simultaneously in 2019.
