Overview

• Disney removed Star Wars Launch Bay and most of Animation Courtyard from printed and digital maps, with construction walls and restricted access now in place.
• The reimagined area will bring back The Magic of Disney Animation in 2026 with interactive exhibits, Animation Academy, character greetings, and a Mary Blair–inspired Drawn to Wonderland indoor playground under a Sorcerer Mickey hat façade.
• Darth Vader now greets in the Star Tours – The Adventures Continue queue, and Chewbacca meets near the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
• The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure and Walt Disney Presents remain open during the transformation, with the Mermaid venue to be retitled Studio Theater.
• Disney Visa Cardmembers now receive priority access to an Olaf meet-and-greet at Celebrity Spotlight from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., replacing a former Launch Bay perk.
