Overview

• Starting September 15 at Magic Kingdom and September 16 at Shanghai Disneyland, the TRON Lightcycle attractions will run a limited-time Tron: Ares overlay with red and orange light trails and a new Nine Inch Nails soundscape.
• Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom will return to a classic gray, cream and blue palette with gold accents, with the timeline still to be announced.
• Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress will receive a refurbishment that adds a new introductory scene featuring an Audio‑Animatronics figure of Walt Disney, with dates yet to be shared.
• Imagineering confirmed early work on a Villains-themed land behind Big Thunder Mountain, informed by Art Nouveau research in Paris and Barcelona and described as “Conjured Architecture.”
• At Disneyland Paris, World of Frozen is slated to open in Spring 2026 as Walt Disney Studios Park adopts the Disney Adventure World name, while Disney Cruise Line previewed new Disney Destiny venues and a Dr. Facilier character experience.
