A fast-turnaround Muppets retheme will replace the soundtrack and story with Electric Mayhem-led scenes, animatronics and a new exterior.

  • Disney confirms March 1, 2026 as the last day to ride the Aerosmith version, with closure beginning March 2.
  • The attraction is slated to reopen in summer 2026 as Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.
  • Phased work has already begun, with the Aerosmith preshow boarded up and guests bypassing the room to reach the load area.
  • The new narrative sends guests on a VIP visit to G‑Force Records featuring Electric Mayhem, penguin audio engineers and a Scooter Audio‑Animatronic.
  • Imagineering will keep the existing track but replace music, scenes and the facade, including a psychedelic guitar with a golden piano key nod to Dr. Teeth.
