• Animation Courtyard will close on September 25, 2025 to begin its transformation into The Magic of Disney Animation, a Burbank studio–inspired area opening in 2026.
• The reimagined space will feature updated character meet-and-greets, special drawing classes, and an indoor play area.
• Disney revealed new promotional art for The Magic of Disney Animation that includes a nod to Robin Williams’ Lost Boy character.
• Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will add missions on May 22, 2026 in which the Engineer selects destinations while guests team up with the Mandalorian, Grogu, and Hondo.
• The Smugglers Run update will roll out at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, and the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Muppets retheme featuring Electric Mayhem remains slated for 2026.
