Disney Schedules January 2027 Skyliner Maintenance Closure

Disney is giving 16 months of notice to help guests plan around a brief winter shutdown with transportation changes.

Overview

  • All Skyliner lines will be closed January 24–30, 2027, with complimentary bus service provided during the outage.
  • Bus routes will connect Disney’s Riviera Resort, Caribbean Beach, Art of Animation, and Pop Century to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
  • Disney posted the 2027 dates on My Disney Experience, reinforcing the return of short January maintenance windows after 2025’s skip and a scheduled 2026 closure.
  • Alternate options such as Friendship boats and walking paths in the EPCOT–Hollywood Studios area will continue to be available for nearby resorts.
  • Separately, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn & Villas will close the Luna Park Pool, splash area, and Leaping Horse Libations from January 11 through April 2027, with two leisure pools remaining open.
