Disney Rebrands ESPN+ as ESPN Select, Raises Prices Ahead of UFC’s Move to Paramount+

New rates take effect Oct. 21, weeks before ESPN carries its final four UFC pay-per-views.

Overview

  • ESPN Select will increase from $11.99 to $12.99 per month, with the annual plan rising from $119.99 to $129.99 starting Oct. 21.
  • The Disney+, Hulu and ESPN Select bundle with ads will go from $16.99 to $19.99 per month, and the ad-free bundle will rise from $26.99 to $29.99.
  • ESPN Select programming will also be available via the new ESPN Unlimited service priced at $29.99 per month or $299.99 per year.
  • UFC events are set to move to Paramount+ and CBS in 2026 under a reported $7.7 billion deal, with marquee cards included for subscribers rather than sold as traditional pay-per-views.
  • Paramount+ currently costs $7.99 per month with ads or $12.99 without, and TKO’s Mark Shapiro has said ESPN’s aggressive PPV pricing contributed to piracy during the partnership.
