Disney PhotoPass Debuts New DINOSAUR On‑Ride Photo Ahead of 2026 Closure

The update offers riders a dated keepsake marking the attraction’s final months.

Overview

  • The refreshed frame features “2025,” a red Carnotaurus, an incoming meteor, the DINOSAUR logo with “It’s fast! It’s a blast! It’s in the past!”, plus “You made it!” and a pterosaur’s “Nice work!” captions.
  • Disney confirms the final day to ride DINOSAUR is February 1, 2026, with the attraction and remaining DinoLand U.S.A. elements closing permanently the next day.
  • Guests can access the new photos through standard PhotoPass channels, including automatic linking in the My Disney Experience app and availability with Memory Maker.
  • The ride will be reimagined as an Indiana Jones attraction that is expected to keep the existing ride system with new sets and a fresh storyline.
  • DinoLand U.S.A. is being replaced by the Tropical Americas land, Pueblo Esperanza, slated to open in 2027 with two Encanto attractions and a new carousel.
